Facility Design Documents

FDD — The Technical Blueprint

A Facility Design Document is the master reference package for each of BAHP’s 5 hospitals — combining architectural drawings, structural specifications, MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) designs, and functional briefs into one approved document set. No civil works contract can be awarded without a completed, approved FDD.

✓ Architectural and structural drawings to Lao building code
✓ Functional brief aligned to MOH service standards
✓ Bill of quantities for contractor bidding
✓ Solar and rainwater harvesting provisions (climate-resilient)
✓ Disability access compliance — ramps, accessible toilets
✓ Equipment room layouts matched to Output 1.2 specifications
